The Birth of Death

The Birth of Death is a one minute short, meant to be a trailer for a feature length film, made as a part of EditFest. Using Filmsupply’s expansive catalogue of footage, and adding a song appropriate to the theme in the video, an ode on the fleeting nature of life begotten from death was conceived. The subject matter is poignant and dark, yet touches upon the beauty of it all.

The footage has been graded, as well as edited.
